Welcome to the online business portal for Strathfield Municipal Council.

This service is referred to as the eDA portal and can enable you to submit online applications and track the progress of their processing/assessment at any time. You are required to provide a contact email address and alerts will be sent to that email address advising you of any status changes or updates in relation to your application.

Information pertaining to all these processes and what you are required to provide, is available via the menu on the left hand side of this page. 

Online submission is immediately available for planning and development applications when you sign-in or register via the panel on the right-hand side of this page.

As you are submitting an application online, the application goes through the following four status phases:

1. Entering: As you are entering the information, the application is waiting in the system until you to agree to the terms of the online system and state that you have submitted all the required information. If you are entering the information and realise that there is some information missing from your online package, the application will be saved in the system as 'entering'.
2. Pending: This is the phase where you have submitted all the information and the Council Customer Service Officer sends you an electronic alert to pay the required fees.
3. Submitted: This is the phase where you have paid your fees and the application has been accepted by Council. The date an application is 'submitted' is taken to be the 'date of lodgement'.
4. Activated: The application has been assigned to a Council Officer and you can view the progress of the assessment online.

Each online application is given a unique eDA file reference number. You will use this reference number to identify or search for your online application. You will also be able to click on this file number to progress the application through the entering phase described above if you exit the online submission at any time.

Each time you lodge any of the electronic applications on this website you will need the consent of the property owner(s). You can download an owners consent form ready for signing here (for development related applications) or here (for any other application).
